iDoctor

IDoctor is a full-stack web app built with MongoDB, Express, React, and Node.js. This demo app provides hospital staff with a system for managing and tracking patient information and visits. A few of the tech highlights include Typescript, offline functionality, and JWT based authorization.

Chirper

Chirper is a full-stack web app built with MongoDB, Express, Apollo GraphQL, React, and Node.js. This demo app clones Twitter’s features of tweeting, retweeting, and replying. A few of the tech highlights include dockerized deployment, CSS-in-JS, and Apollo Client and Server.

Experiences

I started my career in computer science and software development, and I spent the last few years in creative and people-centric jobs. From my recent experiences, I learned to navigate challenging conversations, craft intentional solutions, and stay grounded during uncertainty. I've now returned to software development while integrating my learnings with my passion for technology and innovation.

I'm a web developer in Sacramento, CA. I see web development as a creative and technical process that thrives with empathy, intentionality, risks, stability, and clear communication. My approach draws from my multi-disciplinary experiences with software development, management, and design.

I'm passionate about learning and personal development. By being resourceful and collaborative, I taught myself filmmaking and produced a documentary. This documentary was shown on KVIE PBS and reached about 10,000 households.

These attitudes and skills glue my various experiences together and create the foundation to navigate the quickly shifting tech industry. The time I spend on meditation, journaling, and reading also demonstrates my passion for growth.
